Common Vectors - Supported Data Types

This driver supports the following Data Type options:

Data Type	Description
Autodetect	Import points or strings (see note below) Importing: Dialog 1 and 2 are displayed.
Points	Import points Importing: Dialog 1 and 2 are displayed.
Strings	Import strings Importing: Dialog 1  and 2 are displayed.

Note: Selecting the [Autodetect] Data Type option, automatically determines whether points or strings need to be created as the result of the import. If data contains both points and strings, the point data will be imported as single point strings. Where import data types need to be restricted, the [Points] or [Strings] Data Type option may be used instead.

Import Dialogs:

1. Open File: select an OGR file.

2. Read OGR Data: used during the import of point or string data from one of the OGR file types or MapInfo file sets.
